The preservation of existing affordable housing is a critical aspect of addressing the current affordable housing crisis. The logistics and planning of an occupied renovation project can be fraught with challenges. This workshop will include perspectives from an experienced contractor and property manager to share lessons learned from past preservation projects, discussing all phases from the initial capital needs assessment to relocation planning and turning the units back over to the residents.
